Last Thursday, August 13th, was Cupcake's 6th birthday! We tried to keep it low key this year - sort of. She was pretty excitable and a little edgy, but overall, we had a wonderful time.
She chose to go to Six Flags for her fun day. We invited one of her little friends from church to go with us. I don't have a lot of pictures. We didn't bring our camera to the park.
Daddy took off work. We opened presents as soon as the big kids woke up. We had an early lunch and headed out the door to Six Flags. We did both the regular park and Hurricane Harbor, the water park. We stopped at Burger King for dinner, rushed home, sang "Happy Birthday" with her friend, and ran out the door to the Kindergarten Open House at school. When we got back from that, we had cake and more presents with Grandma and Grandpa.
Whew!!!
I'm exhausted just writing about it. :-)
But a good time was had by all.
Happy birthday to my precious not-so-little-anymore Cupcake!
Blessings to you,
Mamita
