On Friday, we attempted a second trip to the Zoo this week...this time with friends.
It just so happened to be a GORGEOUS day and it also happened to be a spring break day for ALL SCHOOL DISTRICTS within 100 miles.
It was a perfect storm...
The place was a zoo, figuratively and literally.
It took around one hour and 15 minutes to get from our driveway to the parking place. We were one of the lucky ones. We found a parking place. Oh, it was about a mile from the gate.
But that's okay. We made it!
We had a lovely time.
Saw some animals.
Fought the crowds.
Enjoyed ourselves.
Took 3 good pictures.
Basked in the perfect weather.
Wore ourselves out. :-)
Blessings to you,
Mamita

Hi Mamita,
It looks like a great day at the zoo! What fun.
I'm just catching up on the past couple weeks of your life. I love your post "Emotional Healing." Wow, what a journey you have been on to fill your daughter with such love and patience and encouragement that she's finally able to feel remorse, need comfort, give love in return. Parenting a child who is broken has such challenges, yet such rewards.
Congrats on your day as a rock star!!! I love A Bushel and a Peck and will check out your post. I'm sure it's great.
Thanks for visiting my blog and always leaving such sweet comments.
God Bless,
Kathie
