Several months ago (like March), I asked for prayer for a little girl who has waited way too long to come home. I am thrilled to report that God has answered our prayers with a YES! Tomorrow morning, my friends E and D will go to the U.S. Embassy in Guatemala City with their son, J.J. and their new daughter N, and they will promise to be her parents forever.
After 3.5 years, countless prayers, and more tears than we can count, N is coming home!!!!
Congratulations E and D!!!! May God bless your family forevermore!
Blessings to you,
Mamita

I only saw this post today, Julie. Thank you so much for the original request for prayers and for this update. We are indeed home with N and she is one loving and sweet child. I can honestly say that each time we have been with her in Guatemala, it's as if she's known we're her parents. She has always seemed to feel comfortable with us (esp. me), laid her head on my shoulder, allowed me to feed her...all within 10-20 minutes of seeing us again. It's the same now. N seems to have accepted us as her family and is walking around her new home as if she's been here a lot longer than 3 wks. We are so blessed to finally have our daughter home. The prayers of everyone here and elsewhere helped us persevere for these last 3.5 years. Thank you.
